What we say
Friendly & casual, classic neighborhood bar
The Twin Cities oldest gay bar brings in men of all ages, from older businessmen to college boys. The jukebox plays everyone's favorites and you'll always find a game of pool or darts here.

Like so many bars, it's all about your own attitude when you walk in the door. Not the greatest but most everyone including the bartenders are at least friendly. We had a good itme there.

I love this Place!! If you want a cheap, strong drink this is the place to be.. Pitchers Amazing! The musics for an older crew but its perfect to chill and have a conversation! The Patio is always packed and the Staff is friendly! This my be the Dive Bar of the MPLS Gay Scene but its also the Realest Bar too!! Hamazing!!

I wouldn't go as far as to call the 19 Bar a dump. It has been around for awhile, so it's obviously not shiny and new. The patrons are a mix of young and old. For the younger crowd, it seems to be the place to start the weekend partying before heading out to the Saloon. The 19 Bar is also a nice option as a place to grab a drink and play pool during the week. Don't expect much eye candy (unless I'm there of course).

Bette Davis said it best, "What a dump", gay bars are supposed to be happy, fun places, this place is like a bad dream...
