It had it's day...
Unfortunatley it was MANY years ago. It would barely pass as a gay bar most nights except for the tragic looking drag queens trying to make a buck from the mostly straight patrons who have come to gawk. Don't waste you time or $$
LET'S JUST CALL IT "THE 90'S"
This hasn't been a gay bar in years. Mgmt was all about the mighty dollar and basically shit on their loyal patrons. No one that we know goes there. Huck said it best in his review....scary! If the system would allow me to give this place zero stars I would.
Scariest bar I have EVER been to. After paying $10 to park, some guy tried to bum $10 off my partner as we were walking to the door. $10 to get in. I couldn't imagine eating here. Walked through the whole place and wouldn't even stop long enough to have a drink. Was well worth the $20 though, quite the freak show.
Great place to dance, eat & see
I love going to the 90's! The music is pretty good in the Dance Annex, the restaurant food is good and it's always a blast to see the drag show upstairs.
The Straight/Gay bar
This is the most straight friendly of all the gay bars in Minneapolis. In fact, there are nearly as many straight people In the bar as gay people. If you go, and you're a gay male, check out the back room of the mens room. It is a men only section of the bar where anything can happen.
