The Black Hart Formerly: The Town House Bar

Something different every night
The Black Hart opened August 2018 in the space of the old Town House Bar. Located a thousand feet from the new Allianz Field, the Black Hart is the new spiritual home for soccer in the Twin Cities, a place to catch matches from around the world of soccer. It continues the long legacy of Town House Bar as a home for the LBGTQ+ community. Events like drag shows, burlesque, BINGO, and karaoke happen on the regular.

A glass of water is $1? Really? Not sure about the bar as a whole, but in the Piano Bar portion, it is.

      Totally Awesome
Lot's of great activities here. Great Dj's. Kinda small but a total gag hotspot . Everytime I go go the cities it's my first stop. :)

      Hates it

      not male friendly
The women there can be very pushy and like to shove. Lots of fights were the police show up often. The bar tenders definately have their favorites. My Latin friends find it hard to even get served, but I always am served right away. Wednesday night bar rails are only $1, so it's a cheap drunk night.

      Not a fan
We felt like outcasts. I'm okay with a Lesbian bar but the girls shouldn't treat men so rudely! ZERO stars.

NOT to be confused with the Town House in NYC, but we didn enjoy the piano lounge here. Very friendly people and staffis good.

Last Gay bar in St Paul!!
Some say it is because of the Republican Convention coming next year, or the former Mayor being the Republican Senator from Minnesota, but they sure are doing a good job of scaring the GLBTQ community from St Paul. The Town House, is a great place and the women in BLANCHE'S in the back are great!!!
