You might think that an art center open since 1927 would have grown stale and stuffy by now, but the Walker Art Center remains an innovative venue for art that shapes and inspires individuals and communities. Walker contains an impressive collection of modern art and features a sculpture garden that is a Twin Cities favorite. Walker also hosts several film festivals and lectures, including movie screenings in Loring Park.

Wonderful
Its a fun place to go when you have a day to just roam around. This is where my bring friends and family when they visit. I love the art work. It can be really interesring and even funny at times.
Once was enough
Though the building is unique, it's not worth paying to get inside. I don't know what that was in there but it wasn't art. We all just stood in awe looking at all the "penis in a box" section and the "chair on top of a chair."
