Home … a place where we are family. Where all are related. Where we create community. Everyone belongs, everyone has a place at the table, everyone is invited to sing (yes, you can!). Home … an outpouring of grace, truth, faith and unconditional love. Yet, how do we learn that we are loved, that we are valued, that we are unique? How do we each find our voice and believe we have something to say? How can we create communities of trust and openness, freeing us in mind, body and spirit? What do we carry with us to create “home,” wherever we may be? We welcome Dr. Sandra Peter to conduct 'Home : Core : Roots', returning to her beloved home state (and neighborhood!) as Pop-Up Choir, a collaboration of singers from the Twin Cities’ finest choral ensembles, gathers to explore these questions for its seventh U.S. project in the beautiful sanctuary of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in St. Paul. We invite you to a heartwarming evening on January 14th, featuring many Minnesota connections … composers, arrangers, and tributes to people and places … as we celebrate roots that go deep - and love that never ends.
