Community Circus Arts at the Park

Calling all circus enthusiasts, dabblers, and those who are cirque-curious: Want to spin? Bring some poi, staff(s), hoops, or whatever else. All props welcomed and encouraged. Want to juggle? Bring some balls, rings, or clubs, etc. Want to stretch it out, do some yoga, acro yoga, or contortion stretches? Bring your yoga mat and stretchy tools, although not required. ;) Don’t know anything circus-y? Come hang out with awesome people and eat some grub. Bring your hammocks, guitars, and ukuleles and serenade us with your sweet songs ;P Want to learn circus-y things? There will be extra props, tools, and others that will be willing to teach. This event will be from 5 pm until 10 pm. It will be at the end of my son’s birthday so there will be cake ALL ages and skill levels are welcome. My just turned four-year-old will be attending so bring your kids, nieces, nephews, or the like. This will be a great opportunity to get the younger generation to become interested and active with all things circus. There will be no fee to participate or attend. Weather permitting. **If you’re able to contribute food/drinks, please bring whatever you can along** This is not a party, this is an opportunity for friends to get together to learn, play, and explore props and skills with one another. An opportunity for friends to hang out and for new-comers to meet others within the community in a welcoming and friendly environment. If you have extra props, mats, or whatever else and you're willing to share, please bring them with you just in case others forget or if anyone wants to try something new they have been curious about. The more the merrier so invite and come with anyone who's interested in this.
