Submit your artwork in any discipline to be part of Up and Out: Revolution of self, a national queer youth multidisciplinary arts festival! Intermedia Arts' Youth Leadership Council is accepting artwork of all genres from self-identified LGBTQIA+ youth (up to age 22) and organizations that work with these youth. We are also accepting work from performance artists, writers, and filmmakers.
Up and Out: Revolution of Self is a free, multidisciplinary, two-day festival at Intermedia Arts celebrating the artwork and identities of LGBTQIA+ youth from around the country. Featured work will include visual art, performances, film, music, poetry, and more! The festival will also offer workshops and panel discussions, which will be open to everyone. Revolution of Self aims to create a space where LGBTQIA+ youth are celebrated, encouraged, and amplified. Identities that are usually silenced become the norm, with a focus on the intersections between marginalized communities.
