Transmission Presents: The Cantina (a Star Wars dance party)

On Saturday, December 12th (less than a week from the debut of "The Force Awakens") Transmission teams up with The Current, City Pages and the Electric Fetus to present "The Cantina" (a Star Wars Dance Party) * A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to Toys For Tots MN. ** Tickets: http://first-avenue.com/event/2015/12/thecantina The night will include: - Costumes provided by you (meaning everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a Star Wars-influenced outfit...but no biggie if you don't) - City Pages photo booth to capture your look. - 5 hours of galactic dancing to a Transmission soundtrack (classic alternative & indie rock/dance from the '70s - today...including specific audio & video created just for this event). - Special guest DJ - Basically, if you dig Star Wars as much as the rest of us, this night's for you. *IMPORTANT* For reasons I'm sure you all understand, we are not allowed to bring blasters that compliment your costume into the club...only lightsabers.
