WISE BLOOD: Exhibition Opening Reception

Join us on May 9th, 2015 from 7-11pm for an opening reception in celebration of WISE BLOOD. The Soap Factory is very excited to celebrate the opening of WISE BLOOD: an exhibition by artist Chris Larson, running from May 9th - June 14th, 2015. Opening receptions are free and open to the public. This exhibition runs in conjunction with WISE BLOOD, the immersive opera experience, coming to The Soap Factory in June of 2015. Set in the post-industrial beauty of a 130-year-old-factory-space-turned art gallery, this immersive opera, co-commissioned and co-presented with the Walker Art Center, takes the audience on a journey alongside the eccentric and always captivating characters of this Southern Gothic Tale. The audience is brought directly into, around and through large scale installation pieces and kinetic sculptures alongside live music. This exhibition allows an intimate look into the world of the WISE BLOOD installation and set design.
