Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus presents the Upper Midwest premiere of I Am Harvey Milk, written by Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish). Co-commissioned by TCGMC, "I Am Harvey Milk" is a 12-movement oratorio accompanied by chamber orchestra and featuring a soprano soloist, baritone soloist and boy soprano that tells the story of a gay American icon. Special guests will include the Minnesota Boychoir.
“I am Harvey Milk soars even as it moved you to tears, joyously celebrating the human spirit and our shared humanity. You cannot help but be touched by the message and the magic of Harvey Milk as brought to life in Lippa’s work.” - Linda Hodges, Broadwayworld.com
