The Minneapolis Movie Bears 5th Annual Oscar Party AIDS Walk Fundraiser

The Minneapolis Movie Bears' 5th annual Oscar party is at the Chatterbox Pub in St. Paul on March 2, 2014. You can find the list of nominated movies and actors at http://oscar.go.com/. We'll start the night with our regular Oscar trivia contest featuring at least 40 new questions, many of them based on this year's movies. We'll also distribute official Oscar ballots and everyone can vote on which movies they think will win each of the major categories. The top three ballots with the most correct choices will win some fun movie prizes. We've heard a rumor that last year's winner will be back this year to try to repeat his victory. You should arrive and start filling out your Oscar ballots around 5:00 pm. You must have your completed ballot turned in by 6:00 pm CST when the broadcast begins. Last year, and the previous years, we had so much fun, and everyone that attended had a great time. A portion of the proceeds from the drawings will be going to the 2013 MN AIDS Walk. This year we will not have a silent auction. Remember, proceeds will be going to the Movie Bears 2014 MN AIDS Walk team. And we'll be asking you to join our team this year. We raised $1000 last year. Let's beat that amount this year.
